Genevieve is getting married!

Genevieve Nnaji Engaged To Be Married

Nigerian actress Genevieve Nnaji is now engaged to be married.

The beautiful mother of one flashed her engagement ring few hours ago on her Instagram photo album.

To crow it all, the Nollywood movie goddess flashed a kiss to the special man in her life.

As at the time of this report, we are not sure who the special man in her life is but with time, the lucky guy will be revealed.

Congrats to her.

“Other women want it, I wonder how to stop mine.” – Nurse who has up to 100 orgasms a day

A nurse is plagued by a medical condition that gives her up to 100 orgasms A DAY.

Kim Ramsey, 44, feels constantly aroused and the slightest movement can trigger a climax. Trains, driving and even housework start the reaction. But unlike women who yearn for the “Yes, yes!” experience, Kim just thinks “Oh no!”

The orgasms leave her in pain, exhausted and unable to have a normal relationship. She said: “Other women wonder how to have an orgasm — I wonder how to stop mine.”

Kim was diagnosed with incurable Persistent Genital Arousal Disorder. Doctors blame spinal cysts caused when she fell down stairs ten years ago.

Kim, from Hitchin, Herts, but now living in Montclair, New Jersey, US, first had problems after sex with a new boyfriend in 2008.

She said: “I had constant orgasms for four days. I thought I was going mad. It also happened with a new partner and I even tried sitting on frozen peas.”

Dr PAM SPURR – Relationship expert

PEOPLE might joke but this condition is no laughing matter for sufferers.
They find it difficult to talk about the problem, fearing people will laugh or think they are a sex maniac.

Plunging self-esteem can result in body language saying: Don’t approach me. A perfect partner who would listen and understand might be put off.

“I am still a director at Storm 360″ – Olisa Adibua

Last week Saturday, Obi-Asika led Storm 360 management released a statement announcing that Olisa Adibua, who is a presenter at Beat FM, Lagos was sacked as the director of the top entertainment company. The news, which spread like wild fire has now been reacted to by Olisa.

The Glo Naija Sing anchored recently released a statement stating his own side of the coin. According to him, he is still a shareholder of the company and still remains a director there. He stated that trouble started with him when he discovered some fraudulent activities in the finances of the outfit.

Here is his statement.

“As a director and founding shareholder of storm 360 Ltd, my attention has been drawn to certain unfounded statements in the media about my alleged removal as director of the company. There is therefore need to clear the air and put right the mis-stated facts leading to the said publication.

“Sometime in 2011, my attention as a director of the company was drawn to certain huge and unauthorized withdrawals running on the company’s Naira and Dollar accounts. Not having been supplied any explanation and having noted the fact that the debits were to the benefit of unauthorized persons, the matter was reported to d police for investigation.

“All efforts to get the other members of the board to assist in the investigations proved futile and while the investigations were on-going, a meeting of the company was hastily called in which no notice
was served on me and in which the deliberations was conducted in the most clandestine manner. For failing to comply with legal requirements for such meeting, my solicitors have commenced the
necessary legal process to contest the glaringly invalid removal and set same aside.

“The investigations into the fraudulent misappropriation of the company’s funds are still on and upon conclusion will reveal all the perpetrators of the fraud against the company which I and the other well-meaning members of the company have striven to build. The public is advised to ignore such unabashed campaign of calumny as both criminal investigations and judicial proceedings are on-going which will eventually set the record straight.

“For the avoidance if doubt, I still remain a member of the board of the company and any claims to the contrary are completely false–Olisa Adibua, who also works as an OAP and MC, is a co-founder of Storm and owns 20 per cent shares of the company.”

“I didn’t quit smoking by myself, Prophet T.B. Joshua helped me” – Tonto Dike

For years now, Tonto has been facing harsh criticism from fans and media for her nicotine addiction. She began her deadly affair with cigarettes at the mere age of 12, and she’s had a long history of smoking. Back in May, Tonto Dikeh revealed on twitter that she’s quit smoking

‘I QUIT SMOKING**#Puppyface#’, @tontolet tweeted

Quitting can be extremely challenging, the controversial actress revealed in a recent interview how she finally kicked the habits thanks to Pastor T.B Joshua.

“I didn’t quit smoking by myself. I was watching a program on TV with Prophet T.B. Joshua and he was laying hands on people and praying for them. I love to watch his programs on Emmanuel TV. When he was praying, he said, ‘Lay your hands on the TV’ and I just laid my hands that day. I actually needed something else from God, not to quit smoking because I loved smoking! However, after praying I sat back and I think I slept off.”

“When I woke up, I took a stick of cigarette and I felt crazy. I couldn’t even imagine that I took it up to smoke in the first place. It felt like poison!”

Seventeen Afghan partygoers beheaded by Taliban

Fifteen men and two women have been found beheaded in Afghanistan's southern Helmand province. Officials said the victims were killed by Taliban insurgents as punishment for attending a mixed-sex party with music and dancing.

The bodies were found in a house near the Musa Qala district, 46 miles north of the provincial capital Lashkar Gah, on Monday, said the district governor Nimatullah, who goes by only one name.

"The victims threw a late-night dance and music party when the Taliban attacked," on Sunday night, Nimatullah told Reuters.

There were no immediate claims of responsibility.

Men and women do not usually mingle in Afghanistan unless they are related, and parties involving both genders are rare and highly secretive affairs.

For the Taliban, flirting, open displays of affection and the mixing of men and women are vehemently condemned.

In June, Taliban gunmen stormed a luxury hotel near Kabul demanding to know where the "prostitutes and pimps" were, according to witnesses. Twenty people were killed.

The Taliban said it launched that attack on Qarga Lake because the hotel was used for "wild parties".

During their five-year reign, which was ended by US-backed Afghan forces in 2001, the Taliban banned women from voting, most work and leaving their homes unaccompanied by their husband or a male relative.

Those rights have been painstakingly regained but Afghanistan remains one of the worst places on earth to be a woman.

A spokesman for the Helmand governor, Daud Ahmadi, said a team had been sent to the site of the beheadings to investigate.

“Remove my grandmother’s face from N5,000 note” – Seun Kuti

Seun Kuti, grandson of Funmilayo Kuti, one of the women whose pictures have been approved to appear on the proposed N5,000 note, yesterday said his grandmother would not approve of the image, if she were still alive.

Kuti, who is a musician, spoke while appearing on a television programme.

He said: “I do not have the power to stop the government from printing the note but I would want the government to remove my grandma’s face from the so-called note.”

According to him, the Federal Government did not officially inform the Kuti family of the intended action.

He said: “It was through the radio that we got to know that her face would be used…we were not officially contacted.”

Five die after eating amala

Bolorunduro village in Ondo State was thrown into mourning last Wednesday when a family of five died after eating amala (yam flour). The names of the deceased were given as Michael Onoja,56; his wife, Comfort 42, Monday, 24; Patience, 21; and the eight-year-old grandchild, Joy Odoh.

A police source told our correspondent that when Onoja returned from his farm on the fateful day, he instructed his daughter, Patience, to prepare amala for the family to eat.

The source said, “Some hours after the meal, Joy, who was spending the holidays with the family started complaining of stomach pain and shortly after, slumped. She died later at a nearby government hospital.”

It was learnt that the little girl was buried the following day.

The source said, “Few hours after Joy was buried, other members of the family started having stomach pains and were rushed to the hospital. It was at the hospital that Onoja told his neighbours that the family ate amala, and that they had not eaten any other food after that. He and the family members died one after the other shortly after that.”

The source said the corpse of the deceased had been deposited at the mortuary of the state Specialist Hospital, Akure while autopsy had yet to be conducted.

Meanwhile, Public Relations Officer of the state police command, Mr, Aremu Adeniran, said the police had commenced investigation into the incident.

He said, “The matter had been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department in order to ensure proper investigation.”

Attention Campus Chics!!! - How to Get Fuller Breasts Without Surgery

It’s a thing of pride amongst many campus chics who God has blessed with full boobs and they are sometimes envied by their peers. Many young ladies see having full boobs as something very sexy and hip as it allows them to show off their cleavage at any giving opportunity and many campus chics crave for full boobs.

Fear not, those of you with A cup and B cup breasts. There is more than one way to obtain a fuller bust without even having to tempt the thought of going under the knife! Here are some easy yet effective ways on making your mounds look like mountains.

1. It’s All About the Bra. An astounding amount of women wear the wrong size and type of bra to compliment their shape. Most women actually wear bras that are TOO SMALL for them, which of course also reduces the appearance of their bust. Treat yourself to a proper bra fitting and a couple of good quality bras. Many underwear and lingerie shops also offer bras that have extra and extraordinary padding, such as “gel” curve and silicone inserts that will turn those of you with A cup breasts to a C cup instantly!

Yes, these bras will set you back more money than your standard cotton bra, but your bust will look absolutely phenomenal in them. And for those who are concerned that their “partner” will take note of their reduced breast size once the bra comes off, just try asking him if he minds the slight change in size (he will undoubtedly be thrilled with your natural breast size too).

2. Straighten Those Shoulders! Having a poor posture can have a horrendous affect on how good your breasts look. Straighten that back of yours, keep your shoulders level and raise your head high! It is important to keep a straight and steady gaze as you move throughout your day and to never slouch or slump. Not only will your breasts be given a size boost, but you will garner more attention because you will appear to be more confident.

3. Pick the Right Clothes. Ladies with a fuller bust seem to be able to wear almost any shirt and have it look astounding. For those with smaller breasts, go for shirts with a sweet heart neckline, a V-neck cut to sweaters or a square cut. Low, plunging shirts should be avoided.

4. Creams and Lotions. You can find a number of different firming creams and lotions on the market today promising to enhance your bust size. Many women are skeptical of these products and for good reason – a fair number of them don’t even work! The trick is to look for creams that contain collagen, an ingredient that will plump up and also smooth your breasts. Before choosing any cream or lotion, do your research and see which ones have worked for others, and which ones have not.

5. Make Up – It’s Not Just for your Face! Make up can create a number of shadowing techniques that will have your bust looking deeper and larger in a flash. Bronzing powder or blush can be applied down the centre of your breasts and then blended both upward and outwards. Following up with a highlighting powder along the top half of your bust will also help your breasts appear larger and fuller.

'The Jonathan they don't know' Reuben Abati

'They’ in this piece refers to all the cynics, the pestle-wielding critics, the unrelenting, self-appointed activists, the idle and idling, twittering, collective children of anger, the distracted crowd of Facebook addicts, the BBM-pinging soap opera gossips of Nigeria, who seem to be in competition among themselves to pull down President Goodluck Jonathan.

This army of sponsored and self-appointed anarchists is so diverse; many of them don’t even know why or how they should attack the President.

The clear danger to public affairs commentary is that we have a lot of unintelligent people repeating stupid clichés and too many intelligent persons wasting their talents lending relevance to thoughtless conclusions.  Hold on. I don’t want to be misunderstood. I am not saying nobody should criticize the Nigerian President. I spent some time learning that legal maxim: ‘volenti non fit injuria’. Public position comes with its own share of risks and exposure. But the twittering, pinging, Facebook crowd of the new age must be guided by facts.
Hold your stone. Don’t haul it yet.  Shhh. Wait, Mr. Alaseju! I have spent the last fourteen months working with President Jonathan. I have followed him everywhere. I can write a whole book on his Presidency so far, but you won’t get to read that until much later.  I have heard that some people are protesting that they will not buy the book if it gets written. Well, your choice. What I can report, for now is, that he is a grossly misunderstood President. Too many people are unfair to him. They criticize him out of ignorance. They abuse him out of mischief. And the opposition doesn’t make things easy at all. Can we look at a number of issues?

You say he is a clueless President. You are wrong. He is not clueless.  Nobody is more committed to the Nigerian Project than President Jonathan. In spite of unforeseen challenges which his administration has had to contend with, President Jonathan is doing his utmost best to positively transform Nigeria. Ordinary Nigerians know and appreciate this.  Those parading themselves as leaders of the opposition who claim that the President has lost the support of Nigerians represent only themselves and their selfish interests.
President Jonathan is a clever, methodical and intelligent man, who is very adept at wrong footing all the persons who make an effort to second-guess or under-estimate him. He understands the complexity of Nigeria. He is acutely conscious of the historicity of his emergence as Nigeria’s No. 1.  He knows that he is here as the leader of all Nigerians. He knows that he is a representative of all common persons, particularly the children of all blue collar workers who never wore shoes or got a chance to eat three-square meals, and whose mothers and aunties could never be part of policy-making processes.

When he spoke about not wearing shoes as a child, he meant that as a metaphor for the disparities in the Nigerian system, and the urgent need to redress inequalities. But I have heard some persons responding literally that Nigerians should never vote for a man who never wore shoes. How simplistic. Attention needs to be drawn to the fact that a rooted, people-sourced President who seeks to transform Nigeria, and who campaigns on a platform of transformation, will necessarily be opposed by those who consider themselves the children of Empire builders, those who think that their ancestors built Nigeria. Wrong.

The Ijaws, the fourth largest ethnic nationality in Nigeria, have as much right to have their son as President as every other Nigerian group. But Jonathan doesn’t even dwell on this. I have never heard him utter an ethnic statement. He sees himself as the President of all Nigerians. He is at home with every group. He is focused on the challenges of nation-building. He wants to transform Nigeria. He wants to unite the country. He is determined to promote the country. And he is doing so already. He knows Nigerians want regular power supply. He is working at it. That is why we have crossed 4, 400 MW.

He knows Nigerians want infrastructure. That is why he is telling Bi-Courtney to fix Lagos-Ibadan Expressway or get out. That is why he is telling a particular Minister to fix the East-West road and get it fixed quickly. That is why he has directed the relevant agencies to get corrupt persons to answer for their misdeeds. That is why he is strengthening Nigeria’s foreign relations. That is why he is transforming the agriculture sector, from a contract-awarding, fertilizer distribution enterprise into big business. And more… The reason President Jonathan does not go into a song and dance routine is because he knows that true rebranding of a nation is a projection of positive things that are already happening.

hey say he is ‘tribalistic’. Not true. How many Ijaws are in President Jonathan’s inner circle? Very few, I can tell you. There are of course, all kinds of persons who go about telling people that they have the President’s ears and eyes. They would even tell you that they think for the President! I used to have nightmares whenever I heard that, but it no longer bothers me. I have since learnt that some Nigerians consider it fashionable to wear false garments.

The Presidency qua Presidency is staffed by key officials from all parts of the country. The Secretary to the Government of the Federation is from Ebonyi State. The Chief of Staff and the Head of the President’s Secretariat are both from Edo, the Protocol Liaison Officer and Principal Private Secretary are from Adamawa, the Chief Detail is from Borno, the Aide De Camp (ADC) is from Kogi, the Perm Sec, State House is from Benue, the State Chief of Protocol is from Kwara, the Special Adviser, Media and Publicity is from Ogun, the Chief Physician to the President is from Rivers. Only the Chief Security Officer, the Special Assistant, Domestic and the Special Adviser, Research and Strategy are from Bayelsa.
When he is in the office, and he gets there early every day, and works till very late, he is exposed to all categories of Nigerians.  He runs a modern and open Presidency. He is on Facebook, Twitter, email, SMS, BB, and he reads. And he writes. This is not a provincial President. The intelligentsia, his immediate community, should support him to do his work.
President Jonathan was the first Nigerian leader to appoint a woman as his Chief Economic Adviser as well as the Nigerian leader who opened up the Nigerian Defence Academy to women. And he took affirmative action in political appointments to a higher level by reserving 35 per cent of all appointive positions in government for our women folk.

The facts in this regard are incontrovertible. Under President Jonathan, women occupy very strategic positions (Petroleum Resources, Education, Co-ordinating Minister/Minister of Finance, Water Resources, Minister of State, FCT, Minister of State, Defence, Minister of State, Foreign Affairs 1, Minister of State, Niger Delta) and the headship of many of the MDAs. The President’s commitment to Nigeria is total. All his children school in Nigeria. Even his dress code promotes Nigeria.
They say Mr. President drinks. My friend and colleague, Etim Etim, called the other day to say that whatever may be the challenges on this job, he could affirm that I am at least enjoying. ‘What with all the choice drinks on every trip,’ he said. I told him, ‘No, we don’t drink.’ He protested. He thought I was lying. He had heard that kain-kain is a staple fare on presidential flights. I told him No. We are not allowed to touch alcohol. Alcohol is not served during official duties. Yes, when there is an international function, wine is served, but nobody gets drunk around here. That will amount to an act of indiscipline. The President himself does not allow alcohol to be served at his table. But when you go to social media they tell you something else. Lies. Lies. Lies.

I have even heard that the President spends billions on feeding. Well, I have enjoyed the privilege of eating at the President’s table. What does he eat? Fish pepper soup. Cassava Bread. Slices of yam. Rice. Boiled plantain. Fruits and vegetables. He fasts when he chooses, and fasts all month during Ramadan and Lent.   And because he takes his exercises and keep fit regime seriously, he eats very little. Okay, he drinks coffee.  And yet there are people out there who keep claiming that there is a feast in the Villa every day. They say at every meal, the table is decorated with roasted turkey, and every delicacy under the sun.  Lies. Lies.  This President is not a glutton. We have a disciplined, hardworking president who enjoys his privacy, and the company of intelligent people.

Here is a man who is an epitome of loyalty and simplicity. The thing about the President’s critics is that they just cannot accept that someone with his simplicity can be their President. This is the Saul Complex. Saul could not accept the fact that somebody as simple as David could be favoured by God. And just like Saul threw the spear at David out of uncontrollable jealousy, these critics are out to throw any kind of spear to see which hits the target, hence all their lies about the President.

Let me end by saying that the President is a simple man but simplicity is not naivety. If simplicity were to be naivety then the world would not be where it is today because it is simple men like Abraham Lincoln, Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King, and Kwame Nkrumah, who have shaped the world that we live in by simplifying what others have complicated.

Al-Qaeda plots fresh attacks on Nigeria, others

As the country struggles to curb the violent activities of the Islamic fundamentalist sect, Boko Haram, international intelligence agencies have uncovered plans by al-Qaeda, to launch fresh attacks on Nigeria, Ghana and two other African countries.

Al-Qaeda, which was founded by the late Osama bin Laden, has launched attacks all over the world.

Investigations by SUNDAY PUNCH authoritatively showed that the targeted countries were receiving help from Western nations on how to prevent the onslaught.

However, it was not clear if the attacks would be launched by al-Qaeda in the Maghreb or the main terrorist organisation in the country.

The Deputy Force Public Relations Officer, Mr. Frank Mba, confirmed the al-Qaeda plot to our correspondent.

Mba, however, noted that such threats were received in the past, and added that security agencies were determined to ensure the group’s plan did not succeed.

According to him, the police are receiving immense support from developed countries that have counter- terrorism expertise.

Mba said, “That al-Qaeda and similar groups want to attack some certain countries is not new. As security operatives, we treat information at our disposal with uttermost care. We test their veracity and analyse them.

“Here in Nigeria, we stop most of the domestic attacks before they take place. We defuse more bombs than they detonate. We save thousands of lives daily but we do this discretely and quietly.

“More than ever, we have so much support from the international community. We are getting help from both ECOWAS and western countries. We are doing our best with the resources we have and we will continue to do so.

“We have stepped up security everywhere but we won’t disclose how we are doing that and the specifics of our mechanisms.

“I want to assure Nigerians and the international community that government is irrevocably committed to its mandate of providing adequate security in the country.”

Ghana, another country on the radar of al-Qaeda, last Tuesday stepped up security at its Kotoka International Airport, Accra, with heavy deployment of soldiers, who frisked passengers using metal detectors.

Armed troops are not a regular feature in Kotota and Ghanaians described the movement of troops as strange.

On Tuesday, Daily Guide, a newspaper in Ghana, had reported that, “Nigeria, three others are said to be on the radar of the terrorist group. Ghana is also said to be on a hit list of an international terrorist group, leading to deployment of soldiers at the Kotoka International Airport, Accra.

“It was learnt that the action of the military was informed by international intelligence fed to Ghana that the country was one of four others being targeted by terrorists for bombing. The presence of the soldiers is therefore a national security response to the alert, a source said.”

When the newspaper contacted Ghana’s Director of the Armed Forces Public Relations Directorate, Col. Mbawine Atintande, he reportedly explained that “there are only a few military policemen at the (airport) place.”

As to whether the operation was a response to certain international threat, Akintande said he would find out.

Just on August 3, 2012, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of the United Kingdom warned travellers to Ghana that there was an “underlying threat from terrorism” in the country.

“Attacks could be indiscriminate, including in places visited by expatriates and foreign travellers,” it said.

Al-Qaeda‘s foot prints abound in Nigerian as it has cells in the northern part of the country and had also claimed responsibility for some terrorist activities.

In April, the State Security Service arrested Mohammed Ashafa said to be al-Qaeda linkman with a terror group in Nigeria.

Ashafa was reportedly apprehended by the Pakistani government through the National Intelligence Agency and handed over to the Federal Government for prosecution.

When he was arraigned at the Federal High Court, the SSS told the court that the accused person facilitated terrorist exchange programmes between al-Qaeda and its allies in the country.

The intelligence agency further said its investigations showed that Ashafa was allegedly the second in command to one Adnan Ibrahim, who was said to be the Resident al-Qaeda chief in West Africa, but based in Kano.

Also, in May, al-Qaeda in the Maghreb claimed responsibility for the murder of a German, Edgar Raupach, in Kano.

Raupach was killed by his abductors when security forces tried to free him during a rescue operation.

A Briton, Christopher McManus, and an Italian, Franco Lamolinara suffered similar fate in March.

Breivik: ‘I’m sorry for not killing more’ after killing 69 people

Mass murderer Anders Behring Breivik has apologised to “militant nationalists” for not killing more people during a shooting spree and bomb attack in Norway.

He was speaking after a five-judge panel in Oslo ruled he was sane as he killed 77 people last year and sentenced him to 21 years in jail.

Breivik – who claimed the killings were necessary to stop the “Islamisation” of the country – also said he did not accept the “illegitimate” judgement, but would not appeal the verdict.

“I wish to apologise to all militant nationalists that I wasn’t able to execute more,” he said before his remarks were cut off by the presiding judge.

As the judges convicted Breivik of terrorism and premeditated murder, sentencing him to 21 years in a high security prison, he smirked to the court.

Sky’s Robert Nisbet, reporting from Oslo, said Breivik would probably spend the rest of his life behind bars with the justice system increasing his sentence in five year increments.

He added the declaration that Breivik was not insane was exactly what the killer wanted.

“He wanted to be viewed as a warrior against multiculturalism, not a madman,” he said.

Nisbet said in its 90-page document on the judgement, the court said Breivik was narcissistic and had a personality disorder, but was not insane.

He was not aggressive or defensive when questioned by police which usually happens with psychotic defendants.

Lawyers for the 33-year-old right-wing extremist said before the decision that Breivik would appeal any insanity ruling, which he said would be “worse than death”, but accept a prison sentence.

Outside Norway, the sentence was seen by many as mild. The maximum sentence allowed under Norwegian law is 21 years but such sentences can be extended as long as an inmate is considered too dangerous to be released.

As judges took turns reading sections of the ruling, people were crying inside the courtroom as they relived the horror of the killing spree. Many families of the victims and survivors were present.

Some who lost loved ones in the attacks welcomed the ruling.

“Now we won’t hear about him for quite a while. Now we can have peace and quiet,” Per Balch Soerensen, whose daughter was among those killed in the shooting massacre, told Denmark’s TV2.

“He doesn’t mean anything to me, he is just air.”

Per Anders Langerod, a Utoya survivor, said: “I actually want to visit him in his jail cell and yell at him…really hard for 15 minutes, 20 minutes, throw some plates on the floor, you know, show anger.”

Another survivor of the Utoya Island attack, Tore Bekkedal, said more important than the outcome of the trial was the way the whole process was conducted “in accordance with the standards of our society”.

“Everyone has been determined to prove the strength of the values of our society, the very values he attacked.”

He added: “We didn’t want to grant him the satisfaction of seeing us abandon our principles and abandon what we believe in simply because he tried to tell us to.”

Bjorn Kasper Ilaug, who rescued 24 youngsters from the island of Utoya, told Sky News he was relieved.

“I hoped for this. It means we can move forward and justice is done. I hope the Norwegian authorities do not appeal this verdict.”

Sky News reporter Trygve Sorvaag, who was inside court, said the 40-day trial has cost £7m.

He added that the people of Norway are pleased with the verdict, which has strengthened their belief in the justice system. Tweets expressed how Norwegians could now move on after the harrowing massacre.

Breivik detonated a bomb outside the office of Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg, killing eight people, and then drove to the island of Utoya where he shot dead 69 people.

Victor Moses to Chelsea at Last!

The 21-year-old, who featured for the Latics against the European champions last week, agreed personal terms to complete his switch to Stamford Bridge.

No details were released regarding the fee or the length of Moses’ contract.

Wigan chairman Dave Whelan accused Chelsea last week of “messing about” over the fee to be paid for Moses, with the Blues’ offers up to that point conditional on add-ons and Wigan thought to be holding out for around £9million.

A bid was finally accepted on Thursday and Moses was given permission to discuss personal terms.

Moses represented England up to under-21 level before switching allegiance to Nigeria for his senior international career.

He emerged from Crystal Palace’s academy to make his first-team debut in 2007, before joining the Latics in 2010 and making 74 league appearances with eight goals.

A statement on Chelsea’s official website read: “Chelsea Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Victor Moses from Wigan Athletic.

“The 21-year-old winger’s last appearance in Wigan colours came in Chelsea’s 2-0 win at the DW Stadium last weekend, when he caught the eye with his strong running out wide.”

Moses becomes Chelsea boss Roberto Di Matteo’s second signing of the day, following Friday morning’s capture of Marseille full-back Cesar Azpilicueta.

The 22-year-old, who played for Spain in this summer’s Olympics, arrived for a reported £7m.

''We slept with her for over 12-hours'' - Cynthia's killers

**We discovered that the tablet did not work quickly on her.
**When we didn’t get any money from her, we tied her mouth and strangled her and then abandoned her in the hotel and fled.
**Evil suspects covered their face, as they were paraded today.

Two murder suspects who were paraded today by the Lagos State Police Command, Ikeja, Echezona Nwabufor, 33, and Ezekiel Nnechuwu Olisa Eloka, 23, have narrated how they drugged the daughter of a retired General, Miss Cynthia Akuzogwu Udoka, 25, and strangled her in order to steal her money.
One of the suspects, Eloka, said they killed Cynthia because they thought she had a lot of money in her possession. But after the dastardly act, they did not find a reasonable amount of money on her.

According to the suspects, “we met her on the facebook on our Blackberry. We invited her to come to Lagos to buy goods at cheap prices.
“When she got to Lagos, we took her to a hotel in Festac. We thought she had a lot of money, but she said she didn’t have any money. We gave her Reflon tablet in her Ribena drink. After this, we slept with her for 12 hours in that hotel. We discovered that the tablet did not work quickly on her.
“We then attacked her, tied her up and used cellotape to cover her mouth. After that, webeat her to tell us where she kept the money.
“When we didn’t get any money from her, we tied her mouth and strangled her and then we abandoned her in the hotel and fled.”

13 teenage chinese Prostitutes arrested

13 teenage Chinese prostitutes have been arrested and detained by the Nigerian Immigration Service following a raid of their base on Emina Crescent, off Toyin Street, Ikeja. The immigration service raided the apartment following a tip off.

More than 40 teenage girls were brought into the country and camped in an apartment for Nigerian politicians, business executives and expatriates to hire for sex at the cost of between $1,000 and $2,500. The cartel was run by Chinese couple named Sun and Yin Li.
They've been operating for a while and a source in the know said the business was booming and the couple were in the process of importing more girls before they were raided. Only 13 girls were picked from the apartment. The Chinese couple, along with some other girls, managed to escape from the apartment and are now in hiding.
NIS spokesman, Joachim Olumba confirmed the arrest and said the girls are in their custody. He also said they are on the trail of the kingpin of the sex ring. And after investigations, they will either deport the girls or hand them over to their embassy here in Nigeria for appropriate action

Apple wins over $1 billion in suit against samsung

Most people were expecting the jury in the Apple vs. Samsung patent fight to deliberate for a couple of weeks. But maybe it wasn’t a surprise that they handed in a decision after just three days: the venue was San Jose, Calif. If a chocolate company wanted to win a multibillion-dollar lawsuit, they’d want the case decided by juries selected from Hershey, Penn. Apple couldn’t have had any more favorable a venue than its own backyard.

Whether the home field advantage was a factor or not, the result was startling and unequivocal: a near-total victory for Apple. Almost all of Apple’s patents were upheld (the exception being their purported ownership of the basic concept of devices with rounded corners), and the jury awarded Apple $1.05 billion of the $2.5 billion they demanded from Samsung.
An award of this size means that an appeal that lasts until the heat death of the universe is inevitable. To Samsung, a company less-sexy than Apple but similarly wealthy, a $1.1 billion judgment isn’t ruinous. But if the decision stands, it’ll make it far, far more difficult, expensive, and risky to be a company that designs phones and tablets.
Apple wasn’t the only big winner Friday. Every company that already entered into a licensing agreement with Apple — essentially buying the right to make phones and tablets without getting their legs broken — is considering those per-unit licensing fees to be money exceptionally well-spent.
Microsoft, eager to finally establish their own beachhead in these markets, entered into a cross-licensing agreement with Apple several years ago. Windows Phone 8 and Microsoft Surface now have a clear run to the goal line.
The jury didn’t necessarily say, “Samsung copied the iPhone.” Technically, they said “Apple holds patents on many broad ideas of mobile device design and multitouch user interface. Samsung violated those patents, and in almost every case they did so knowingly.” The lesson here is that the so-called Patent Wars, mostly a campaign of skirmishes before now, has suddenly turned into global thermonuclear war.
Thus, the most ironic winners on Friday were Nokia and Research In Motion. These two companies, driven to their knees by the stagnated dowdiness of their products and intense competition from the iPhone, are now attractive companies to own, thanks to their large and longstanding portfolio of mobile device patents.
Google spent $12.5 billion to acquire Motorola’s mobile division last year. If they wanted Motorola for its design and manufacturing savvy, isn’t it interesting that Google’s successful Android tablet bore a prominent ASUS logo?
Samsung will be fine. The biggest losers here are consumers. If the verdict stands, then the costs of the judgment will be reflected in the cost of mobile devices. Furthermore, other manufacturers will feel the need to buy Apple’s official permission to build useful phones, passing down the possible $20-per-handset fee.
And it’s possible that the next great phone, the one that shames the iPhone the same way that the iPhone buried the Blackberry, will never make it to market. Designing and selling an advanced smartphone just became a dangerous business.
An Apple spokesperson thanked the jury, insisting that the lawsuits against Samsung were about values. “We make these products to delight our customers, not for our competitors to flagrantly copy.”
Which seems like a bold way to characterize the jury’s findings, given the esoteric specifics of the ruling.
Friday’s verdict doesn’t feel like justice. It feels like the day when Apple lost a hunk of its public persona as sweet hippies motivated by excellence and freedom, who win by making the best products.
